Adding Words To Stuff

“A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth,
And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him” (Proverbs 12:14 NKJV).

All fruitfulness begins with words. When God created all things He used His words, and we do likewise. God creates stuff out of nothing, and we create by adding words to stuff.

We come up with an idea (words in our head) and then use that idea to bring something from a lower level of productivity to a higher level of productivity.

But words can’t just stay in your head. They need to come out of your mouth and even out of your hands.

That’s why I love the above verse. It combines the fruit of a man’s mouth and the recompense of a man’s hands. Speak then build.
