Death And Resurrection Tally

For there is no more remembrance of the wise than of the fool forever,
Since all that now is will be forgotten in the days to come.
And how does a wise man die?
As the fool! (Proverbs 2:16 NKJV)

It’s not uncommon to hear someone say, “Don’t get your hopes up and you’ll never be disappointed.”

That’s wrong. Whether you’re a wise man or a fool, you’re going to get disappointed eventually. Because everybody dies.

My father-in-law used to say, “I’m going to live until the day I die, and then I’m going to get up and live again.” He knew the resurrection was true.

So if you’re going to die someday. And if you’re going to rise again someday after that. Why not start practicing now?

Try something, fail, and get up and try again. See how many deaths and resurrections you can fit into this short life. Before the final Death and Resurrection.
