Economics 101

All economic analysis should start with ethical analysis (Christian Economics In One Lesson by Gary North, 2020 Kindle edition).

Instead of asking, “Who should we tax in order to most stimulate the economy?” the economist should ask, “Do we actually have the authority to enforce this tax?”

An economist doesn’t need a complex math problem showing the “benefit” of forcefully taking from one person and giving to another. A good economist only needs to know this, “You shall not steal” (Exodus 20:15 NKJV).
