God Speaks All The Time
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4 NKJV).
I’ve heard it said that it’s hard to prove the existence of God because He doesn’t speak. But that’s not true. It’s not because He doesn’t speak. It’s because He’s always speaking all the time.
“The heavens declare the glory of God” all the time. All. The. Time.
God created using His words. And those words are still speaking.
Some enter into that conversation by rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, and giving thanks in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Some learn how to ignore it, as if it was some background noise that’s just always been there.
It’s hard to prove the background noise when you’ve never experienced a day without it.
Start listening to God’s story in your life. Interpret that story through His Word the Bible. And speak back. Join the conversation.
