Personality Tests

I’ve studied a number of personality tests and I appreciate them in their place.

But they can go wrong.

What do I mean by that?

I’ve heard people claim that their personality test shows that they aren’t difficult, they are just different. This is true sometimes, but humans are sinners.

Sometimes—probably most of the time!—you aren’t just different. You are being difficult. And you need to repent.

And don’t let a personality test limit you. Sometimes I know I’m supposed to do something, but I give myself an excuse because a personality test shows me why I don’t want to do that thing.

Don’t let a personality test talk you out of being faithful. And don’t let it talk you out of continuing to grow.
