Pray Without Ceasing
If my kids tell me they’re bored, I reply that you can’t be bored, but you can be boring.
I should tell myself something similar regarding prayer. If I ever wonder if I’m bothering God, I need to stop thinking that way. God doesn’t have a bad attitude concerning my prayers, but I might.
Do you believe that God wants you to pray? That He’s actually more eager to hear your prayers than you are to pray them?1
“It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24 NKJV).
God anticipates your prayers. So pray more. Even until you are able to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV).
What do you think?
