Every one who has had the misfortune to talk with people in the heart or on the edge of mental disorder, knows that their most sinister quality is a horrible clarity of detail; connecting of one thing with another in a map more elaborate than a maze…He is not hampered by a sense of humour or by charity, or by the dumb certainties of experience…The madman is not the man who has lost his reason.
Thank you for the feedback. Here's what I'm seeing. When Trump was first elected in 2016, that created a tension that rippled across the US. And that tension grew into woke ideology vs anti-woke ideology. The woke-ideology was the pinnacle of raw emotion ruling everything. When Trump was elected the second time last fall, that signified the crash of woke ideology. Anti-woke won; woke lost. Joe Rogan has always been liberal, but he is anti-woke and so he endorsed Trump. The same with Elon Musk, RFK Jr., and others. That's the end of raw emotion. Raw reason is next because that's the way the pendulum swings. Because woke ideology and raw emotion was the greatest enemy, it's possible we'll react and go the other way.
Why/how do you think the world of raw reason is next? Politically?
